PreSonus Firepod line outputs.
My Firepod has 8 line outputs on the back. I am currently using Sonar HS6. My problem is that these line outputs are paired into stereo sets. I can't send anything to just "3" I have to send it to "3-4".
I've read through the Firepod manual and it somehow manages to not even once mention the line outputs on the back. Is Sonar pairing up these sends, or is my Firepod doing it? |

sonar is. They are just balanced outs. 1 and 2 of course is the same as your mains except that you can't blend live inputs/mix with that. 3-8 are independent though and you can do whatever with them.
In cubase, I create mono outs and assign them channel 3, 4, 5 etc. Maybe there's something similar, where you can choose the type (mono vs stereo) of output, and which output you use. |
