Sonar 4 Producer and softsynths not working

Hi all, I just got the Motu Microlite to use with my Mackie Control Surface and some midi keyboards. I get a lot of clicks and stuttering when I play the midi instrument in the Cakewalk softsynths. I tried messing around with the buffers, but nothing worked.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

My computer specs are:

Intel Q6600 Quad chip
4gig ram
XP-64 OS
RME Fireface800

Seems like upgrading to Sonar 7 Producer did the trick. The softsynths work perfectly, my latency's down to 1.5ms, and everything just seems to run smoother.
