Fostex 2412
I have the chance to buy a Fostex 2412 Mixer locally. Everything working, and it used to be the console in studio b at the local university. (Quoting the seller, as I have not seen it myself yet.) He bought it from them, and hasnt used it for about a year.
How much should I be willing to pay for it? The seller demands 970$ (630 euro), is this a bit much? It seems to be a very nice console, with all the routing possibilities that I need. Yet I am worrying about the lack of replacement parts, and it beeing a difficult console to clean/maintain.. Any thoughts on this, as well as any experiences with this mixer would be much appreciated.
