If you want to take it apart further, I need the input section....it has the guitar input, line input and the button that chooses between the two...it is connected by 2 ribbon cables....how much you want for it?

I was hoping for lots of little amplifiers and speakers. With a mouse changing connections and micing setups as you change the dials. Maybe even a small collection of tiny guitars, and he replays what you've played instantaneously. Ever wondered why those things make you sound better than you thought you were?

The input section can be seen in the first picture at the very left on the blue panel... I really thought it had more circuit and DSP stuff, but that's what it is, and it actually shines on sound. It's a shame the knobs feel so damn cheap...

I'm thinking I could just photo-shop the colors on these... and that would do it...

When they said it was a rack mount version of the v-amp2, they weren't kidding. Looks like they just pulled the guts out of the table to version and slapped them in a 19" chassis.

The V-Amp 2 doesn't have S/PDIF or word clock, AFAIK, so it isn't quite the same guts, though it may be the same brains with a different interface board....
