hi thanks for reading this. anyway i want to run cakewalk with the soft synth called vaz. when i trigger the synth from cwlk audio is disabled in the synth (vaz) when i unmute audio in vaz, cakewalk then will not play back audio tracks. i am using a turtle beach pinnacle sound card. if anyone can suggest why this is happengin i would be very grateful,

sounds similar to giga sampler problem I had. One idea might be that you can't run both at the same time on one audio card. I would definitely contact Vaz or check the manual. If Vaz has a preferences/options menu look for a way to select a different channel but if the turtle beach card doesn't have seperate channels this may be impossible....check out audio capture and use it. that's the way giga users are able to record with a card that isn't multi-client/different channels....create a midi file and play and record into cake.
