Replacing bulb in channel VU on my 388...Help!
I have the top panel off and i noticed that the VUs are on a frame - 4 meters to a frame. the frame looks easy to unscrew and pop out but there is a vertical circuit board in the way. (i am trying to replace channel 5 bulb)
the circiut board that is in the way seems like its 'plugged in' to a horizontal board on the bottom. it feels like if i tug in upwards it will unplug from the board on the bottom. i dont want to force it and i want to make sure this is the case (obviously) before i start pull things lol can anyone help me on this? thanks |

I have removed cards from one 388 before and I just dont recommend doing it.
The connectors on those cards are getting brittle and they break easily. even if all of the pins are lined up its not that easy of a job. They can break comming out or going in. For me if the machine is working right other than a few bulbs being burnt out I would leave well enough alone. Its just to easy to break those connectors off of the board. |
