Decent Acoustic Piano VSTi £100
Hi.
I'm looking for a new Acoustic Piano VSTi for my setup and after listening to stacks of mp3's and read many reviews have narrowed my choice to :- 1/ True Pianos 2/ Galaxy Pianos II - Steinway (download edition) I have tried the True Pianos demo and found it sounded very good, extremely playable and really light on the cpu! I'm unable to try the Galaxy Steinway because there is nowhere near me that sells it. I also noticed that the download version has some features cut down:- Bit size reduced to 16 bit from 24 bit Sample length reduced to 30 seconds from 50 seconds Release samples reduced to thirds instead on chromatic No una corda samples My dilemma is I prefer the mp3 samples of the Galaxy Steinway (full version) but am unsure how much these cut downs will affect it's sound from the full version or be able to feel how it plays. What would you recommend?
