FS: Lots of quality beginner studio gear!
This is stuff that I LOVE but I never use. I'm going to go with more of an "all-in-one"-type device to clear my deskspace.
1. Tascam FW-1082. I've had it for about a year. Most of that time I used it as a mixer to send sound from my television to my computer monitor. Works great. Sounds great. It's pretty awesome to use in Cubase, but again, I want to clear closet space. Information can be found here: http://www.tascam.com/products/fw-1082.html and here: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ELAID=26049159 Current price (and price I paid) is $600 + shipping. I'd like to get $350 for it. I can't really describe how great this thing is, and if I can't sell it, that will be OK with me, but I'm sure it can go to a home where it will be used more than it is now. 2. Presonus "BlueMax" Compressor. First compressor I ever owned. It's great for a begginer who either doesn't know, or doesn't want to mess with, the details of how to properly set a compressor for each type of sound. Comes with a variety of "Presets" which are pretty darn good. Great condition, and again, barely used. I tend to use software compressors more than outboard ones. More information here: http://www.presonus.com/products/Det...x?ProductId=23 Paid $150 new. $75 and it's yours. SOLD! 3. JoeMeek MQ3 Compressor+Equalizer. This thing is, sorry for the french, BAD-ASS. I primarily used it for bass and it just gave a great gritty thump sound that I loved. But, my bass was stolen and I haven't been able to bring myself to buy another one. Hence, this is now expendable. More information here (.pdf format): http://www.joemeek.com/pdf/mq3qhb.pdf Paid $200 for it new and these are really hard to come by and sought after. I'd like $125 for it. Prices do not include shipping. Make offers as you feel fit. I have heatware evals under Nutdotnet (not sure if you guys use that or not). I accept Paypal (confirmed addresses only!) or Money Order! I hope it's ok to link to my local craigslist ad. Just pay attention to the pictures. The prices that are listed in this post are my prices. http://anchorage.craigslist.org/msg/560248960.html Last edited by Nutdotnet; 02-10-2008 at 18:06.. |
