Mesa V-twin metal.

Hi!!

Just showcasing the sound of me latest piece of gear..

A Mesa-Boogie V-twin pedal, a fine looking thingie, stainless steel and diamond-plate.

Rock-ish sort of a sound too, people in reviews said that the gain isn't enough... plenty for me. Unfortunately I didn't show any clean sounds, but take my word the clean sound is pretty as hell.
All guitars and the bass were recorded with chain:

instrument-->V-twin-->BBEsonicstomp-->tracker.

..Hideous hung-over.. Got drunk after a sober month, really drunk, throw up-kinda drunk... Man I missed playing while hung-over.
tracked and mixed today.

Hi Jouni.
That things got some balls to it! Nice guitar playing there and those voice sounds are great too – nice touch. It's a good rocking sound for sure.

Have fun.

Thanks for the listen Dreamer!
I'm no shredder, I only know like half a dozen licks, and thats classic rhythm'n'blues stuff only played as fast as I can.

I really ought to learn some new chops somewhere?..

That's what happens when you don't invest time on reading and learning the scales and things properly, at some point it starts to limit you.
Take notice kids!

But gotta say the Mesa sounds helluva lot more "raw" than for example, the similar ENGL-preamp/stomp I have, or the VOX Tonelab distortions, kinda more blackmetal-ish..

Thanks you all.

I take there were no obvious flaws on the mix then..
My bandmates said it sounded like I was trying to score with some girls with it.. Damn metalheads. If it's got a melody-->you're pussy.
