Beyer M69 - Some questions...

Ok, I just picked up four used Beyer Dynamic M69 mics for a grand total of about $200 Australian (about $175ish US)...

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows the best way to dismantle one of these? I'd like to "un-dent" some of the windscreens and also make sure the elements are properly seated.

Also, will any of the 6-pin varieties of DIN plug fit Beyer's unusual connectors (are they Tuchel?)?

Thanks in advance!

The basket consist of two parts which you can take apart by unscrewing the three very tiny screws on the outside of the rim.

The older connector is a small tuchel and the female connectors are still available. Don't use any Din connectors that were meant for midi devices.

Hi, thanks for the reply...
Yeah, I've removed the three tiny screws to get the top half of the basket off. The problem is, how do I remove the element to get at the bottom half of the basket? Does it just pull out?
