I did do my research before I bought my BR-600, so I knew one had to be choosy regarding what 1Gb card one bought.
Consulting the Boss list, I found a Sandisk at Circuit City (Comp USA had nothing compatible) with the correct product code #. Recording went fine. Then I went to backup files and tried to convert the mastered tracks to WAV. Much to my dismay, I got errors - files could not be completed or dragged and dropped. A little looking revealed the Sandisk card I had was a series II and only series I work with the Boss BR 600. So I've a Lexar card on order - when it arrives I'll record a simple stereo track and try to convert it and see what happens. The only way to salvage the song I recorded was to take the analog signal and feed it into the PC and save it ass a WAV with Audacity. So much for digital purity. I'll file this one under "Live & Learn". ![]() |

Sh!t, it might be the BR-600 - I tried to convert a quick song file on the memory card that came with the recorder and got an error message too.
