Addictive Drums in Logic Pro 8

Has anyone tried exporting each piece of a drum track to it's OWN track in Logic, or is it even possible?(from addictive drums)
I know about the click and drag process, as well as the piano roll editing, but i was reading on here about how a guy had done his drums in Reason and then exported each part to its own track for further editing. Just a thought.

Be nice to me, i'm a new dabbler in this whole home-recording world.

I'm not sure if you can re-wire with those programs, but one way to do it would be to mix down the samples to separate WAV files y soloing, and then import the audio into Logic.

Programs such as EZdrummer and Addictive Drums both allow routing individual drums to their own channels. Not having used Logic i can't tell you the exact method but in Sonar, first you would add AD to the synth rack with all outputs, then inside AD you would configure whether the drum is kept as part of the main mix or sent to its own output. from there you can add fx and EQ to the track just as if it were a recorded wav.

It's definitely possible. Logic changed the internal routing scheme in version 8, and some plugins had to be updated. Addictive Drums was one of them. So you need the 1.1 update if you don't have it already, and then you might need the PDF they offer.

I've only used the demo of version 1.0, but check out that stuff. You can also look at logicprohelp.com for all kinds of information about Logic. It's a valuable resource.
