DR-670 / BR1180 sync / midi
Can someone plesae explain to me how to sync a DR-670 with a BR-1180, in such a way that I won't have to get a headache? The goal is using the BR to control the DR.

I don't have a BR-1180 but I'll give it a shot in general terms.
First, connect one MIDI cable between the two units - from "out" on the BR-1180 to "in" on the DR-670. Connect audio cables from the outputs of the DR-670 to channel inputs on the BR-1180. Set your BR-1180 settings so that its sync source is internal, not external. On my TASCAM 2488 those settings are in the MIDI settings area, with generator = CLOCK and internal/external set to INTERNAL. You should have something similar on your unit. Check your BR-1180 documentation for the details. Good luck! ![]()
