The Mars Volta's new album

There's a son called "Ilyena" where at 4:15, it starts this little drum/percussion break and then leads to the end of the song, you can really hear the drums here. I don't think they used any sampling or triggering on this, so it's probably a real drum sound, but aside from this whole CD sounding fantastic (much better than their last two I think), the drums stand out to me as awesome. The kick is perfect, it's got lots of tone but the faster triplets the drummer does never get lost. I know this has a lot to do with having a badass drummer, but somebody should give this album a listen. These are my favorite drums so far this year.
