Will Alesis Micron Work with ProTools?

I'm really new to the whole digital music scene but i'm trying to get into it.
What program should i use for the Micron if i can't get it to work with ProTools?

I'm not sure I follow. Shouldn't it just be a matter of plugging the synth's audio outputs to Protool's audio inputs? Like if you were recording a guitar? Or vocals?

Do you want to use it as a MIDI controller beyond its onboard sounds? There are MIDI ins and outs, and I have used it as a MIDI controller. To go into your PC, you MAY have to purchase an M-Audio UNO interface, going from the Micron's MIDI sockets to the USB.

BUT I am not a recording software user, so others could better give definitive advise.
