Roland JD800 Horn Sounds ?
Hey Friends,
Anyone have an old Roland JD800 synth ? I was curious about the differences / similarities when compared to the JX8P ? ( which I own ) I especially wondered if it has those great " HORN SOUNDS ", called " STAB BRASS " on the JX. With a little editing, and layered with another decent horn patch ( like off my Motif ), I can get a pretty believeable horn section sound, which I desperately need for the Reggae, Blues, & Funky stuff I like to write & record. I've checked the YouTube videos for the JD800, but it all seems to be pretty much the "dreamy pads" kinda' stuff.....that's fine, but I was hoping for a little more detail concerning these horn sounds.
