I have an idea for bass trap frame...
Has anyone ever thought about using pvc for framing a bass trap? Seems like it could be a good idea. My idea is to cover fiberglass with proper fabric and just suspend it inside of the pvc frame(picture hanging wire?). You could cut two smaller pieces and attach them to the rear of frame to space the traps away from the wall. With a bit of imagination you could make it look pretty cool. You could also make the frame the same size as the bass trap and just make the trap and frame flush.. Might be kinda cool depending on the color scheme and whatnot. Who knows? Any ideas?

Yes I'm speaking of panels. Sort of like your picture except I'm visualizing smaller pvc... and a more seamless fit... and with a single panel per frame... and no plywood.
For my room they might be cool with gray frames and green cloth. Or maybe black frames and gray cloth.. hmm... I think I'ma make me sum.. |
