Question

I know everyone is probably too busy trying out SONAR to have time to answer questions but here goes

I am running Guitar Studio 2 on the following:

pIII 733
Gigabyte MotherBoard with Via chipset (GA-6VXE7+)
256MB RAM
Soundblaster Live Platinum
Cakewalk on Fujitsu 5400 20GB
Audio data on Quantum Fireball 7200 30GB

The problem I am having is that playback will quit at the same place in my song everytime. The song has 14 tracks of audio and I am using a few realtime effects. I am wondering what factors would affect these stoppages? I have tried changing some of the audio options (under tools/audio options/advanced) and have had some success fixing the problem but the fixes cause latency problems. So I guess my problem can be summarized by asking what are the best settings for my audio options. This is what I have currently (with the stoppage problem):

File I/O buffers: 16
I/O buffer size: 128
Playback buffers: 3
Wave Buffer size: 48
Record Buffers: 6

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Chris

PS. Does anyone know which version of Cakewal Pro Audio ,GuitarStudio2 is equivalent to?
