Need help in picking new soundboard
Our band plays live and multitrack records the performance.
I currently use Adobe Audition 2.0 as the multitrack recording software and Audiophile 1010 soundcards. My current mixing board is an older 16 channel crate. I want to buy a new board which will allow me to send each mono channel to both the recording devise and to the house. Cost wise,, for now, I may be limited to the MX9000 (behringer). Does anyone know the following: 1. In the MX9000, is the direct-outs signal post mixer board preamp? 2. If I use the direct outs, will the signal be interrupted or will it also continue on to the house amps? 3. Does anyone know of a low teens $$$ 24 amp channel mixing board with 24 direct outs. I have multitrack recorded several CD's by routing each channel from the mic/instrument into a preamp, then through the 1010 sound cards, then outputing the signal into the XLR input on the crate in order to route the sound onward to the compressors and house amps.. This system works but is flawed for various reasons... ANy ideas,,,thanks. |
