looking for info on Event 50/50 studio monitors

Someone offered to sell me some Event 50/50 studio monitors. How much did these puppys go for new and are they decent monitors.......What would be a good price on used but good condition? I have around $300 +/- and if these are not worth it then would what would be some good alternatives..........

Hey Taurus, I have heard of the 20/20's but not the 50/50's. If you check out the on line stores you will see what ones are in your price range new. If you have a music store close by I would go and audition them in person. Take some of your fave CD's and take a listen.

P.S. I also forgot you have to decide if you want to go active (self powered) or passive (you already have a power amp).

I ended up getting New KRK rocket 5"s for $240. Reveiws seemed to be pretty positive for them so When I get them this week I should be Rawkin
