Multiple interfaces

I've had a 1010LT for a while now, but I just got an Aardvark Q10. I'd like to use the Q10 for all the inputs (obviously), but I'd like to use the 1010LT for outputs. The monitors I use only have RCA and mini inputs, so if I wanted to go out of the Q10, I'd have to get adapters. I noticed that I can switch back and forth between cards, but this is rather a pain when you're trying to monitor what you're recording, or even just playing back while you're recording. I don't suppose it's possible to use both at the same time, or is that reserved for linked cards (using the same driver) only? If it won't work, I guess I can suck it up and buy two little adapters...

the asio spec calls for only one driver (could be over multiple cards, but of the same type) AFAIK

You could pull it off with Waveout maybe, but with some horrid latency

So basically what you're saying is that even if the Reaper people considered this issue, they couldn't work around it because that's just how the drivers are? I guess that sort of makes sense... Well, at least now I don't have to have that annoying octopus of cables hanging off my computer.

Oh, ok. Thanks. If I'd found that one when I searched, I guess I wouldn't have had to ask...
