My Boy!

My Son put this together as a gift to me. He's such a metal head but he bowed down and took a shot at some classic rock. He played to a backing track hw picked up on the internet and tried his hand at mixing it.

"The mic blended with a little ambiance" as he put it and "push'd the faders". He maintains that the easy part was the playing.

Don't bash on my boy..he's 15 years old, smart as hell and plays the drums as a primary instrument. Guitar is something he does for me when things are "gell-in". Like I know what that means!

I love him...a lot.

Thanks Steph

It's fine except he may need to pull the faders in the intro & verses rather than push.
ACDC were just another pop band when I was in my late teens - they've become hard rock hereos since then (I have a great snap of them in satin outfits singing - Can I Sit Next To You, Girl?)

I guess I got caught up in the moment. Certainly not spectacular, just a dad being a dad.

To hear something other than the usual death metal grinding was refreshing. I tell ya, when those kids all come over... I was rather certain that he couldn't play an actual chord much less a single note without grabbing for a pinch harmonic. I guess now I've got to ask, which mic did he use?! I don't recall him asking for permission
