My first pro-recorded EP
Hi, I know this kinda defeats the point of "home recording" (although technically we recorded most of it at his house, lol), but I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas on how to promote my new EP, produced by Cary Pierce (of Jackopierce)
My new single is up at www.myspace.com/mikefinley (called "Summer's gone") - it's all very goo goo dolls/gin blossomsy. Not to sound arrogant but I really think it has a chance to go places, anyone have any ideas on how to get it out there? I'd love to hear what you all think. I mean the song is poppy as the day is long, but still... Cheers guys! Last edited by CGBMike; 12-13-2007 at 14:08.. Reason: little addition |

You can tell you have talent. I think the best way to promote your cd would be to play live shows and as many as you can. Selling cds at shows can be pretty profitable depending on how much money you spent on getting it recorded.
