Using RoomEq Wizard to help with your acoustics.

What's going on guys. I've recently moved and about to get my mixing room in order. I have a few auralex lenrds and other products but am also going to build rigid fiberglass bass traps and mid absorbers. I was just curious if you guys used room eq wizard to help tame your room. If so, what all is this software useful for and did you do it before you put the absorption up or afterwards? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot guys, DC

it will help you to visualize what is going on in your room before and after you make your broadband treatments so you can determine what (if any) other treatments you may need. plus if you have a compatible EQ, it can help you do the final step with some moderate EQ'ing.

the waterfall views are very nice to determining how much reverberation you have at each range of frequencies so you can really zoom in on problems and see that the treatments are doing what you expect them to do.
