Tommy Igoe - Groove Essentials

Anybody used this instructional dvd/cd/book combo. I've read lots of good reviews on it but havent talked to anyone who has used it. I would rate myself as an intermediate drummer (played guitar all my life) and I would really like to perfect all the standard beats but also really keen to get into some advanced grooves. Learning from books etc is a bit of a chore for me but maybe this one is a bit better. I intend to track down a good teacher at some point but choice is somewhat limited in these here parts. Thanks

I have the DVD/poster and every now and then will put it on for my students. I'd say it's a pretty good tool to have in your toolbox

Thanks guys. Thats quite the impressive resume he has. Seems like such a young guy to have all that under his belt. I found some of his courses on you tube.
