I need to know, cause I'm loosing my mind googling and finding zero...
Is there an interface for a macbook that does not have mic pres? All I want are some analog outs for monitoring and spdif digital I/Os... Is there anything like this???

From what I gather from searching around the net, is that macbooks/pros are popular for music making... I've also gathered that most home recordists choose to purchase nice external pre amps and what have you...
As it pertains to macbooks and the like... what's the point in having an interface with pres? Is there not a basic interface for digital I/O and monitor outs?? The lord has spoken
