Talking plans for studio. what you guys think?

I will be recoding hip hop music and monitoring in a 11ft by 11ft room..with a -

Laptop(got it),
Mackie 1402 vlz pro mixer(want it),
KRK RP-5 studio monitors(want it),
ATH M30 headphones(got it),
AKG c3000b microphone(got it)

what do you think about the monitor and mixer choice
Anything that I maybe missing?
All advice can help...thank you!

Lots and lots and lots of room treatment, especially since the room is small and the walls have common lengths.

Plans? I didn't see anything but an equipment list. This is a studio BUILDING forum. There are plenty of equipment forums to ask about the gear.
If you want to start learning about your ROOM, start with a search of what a SQUARE room does to sound. Its about resonances, or whats known as MODES. I would start here

Scroll down to the Acoustics for Small rooms section, and then read the treatment section.
BTW, you might begin to understand in about 2 years. In the meantime, search this forum for anything related. Its ALL been covered at LEAST a zillion times.
