Ok, here it is. My latest attempt to get the most out of cheapo gear:

www.mp3.com/ceaserin

Listen to the song "Into the Vivid Cherishing". Or one of the other top two on the list. I am looking for critques from a professional standpoint. So fire away...

Well, being homerecording.com and not prorecording.com you may not get exactly what you want.

I only get the option for lo-fi and hi-fi stream, which my modem can't do. If you get the download option up I'll check it out and give you my non-pro comments. BTW, are you looking for comments on the music the recording or both?

Didn't think about that.

I've changed that song so that it can be downloaded. I don't know when the change will take effect though. In the meantime, the second song "Holy Mother" is available for download. I'm looking for opinions dealing mainly with the recording. But anything else you'd like to add would be fine. Thanks.

I'm listening to Holy Mother right now, these are my first impressions: The guitars are weak. Where is the bass? The drums sound decent. Really tight playing. The vocals are waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy to effected, they're buried in the mix.

I listend to the rest of your songs, seems they all are this way.

Out of curiousity, what kind of guitar amps are you using? what are you recording on?

I am by no means a pro - but I think my advice is noteworthy anyhows. The guitars need a fuller sound. They sound really weak. This oculd also be fixed by bring the bass frequencies on the bass track up. The bass gets REALLY lost. If you boosted the bass on the bass track the guitar sound might fill out too. I actually like the vocal sound. Bring them up a little maybe, but they sound awesome on " Into The Vivid Cherishing".

Now to the part of the post that I won't be an ass. I LOVE this stuff! It's AWESOME! Keep this up!

If you need someone to do art/website/anything like that, just tell me. I love to make art for people that make unbelievable art in thei0r own form (if that made any sense). Just syaing, your website could use some work, and I'd be willing to do you some shit for free if you want. Give me an email.
