I like that you didn't disable the little bar that lets you scroll through the song. Almost everyone else on myspace has disabled that for some reason and its incredibly obnoxious, I don't see why they do it.

Your flow is pretty impressive, it is clear that you put effort into every verse. I think that a lot of the people you collaborate with are not quite on your level and actually are pulling you back from what you could potentially be. You should spend some more time working on some solo efforts.

I also like that you don't try to sing melodically in your hooks. Its clear that you aren't a singer, and rappers that try to be melodic usually sound worse. Nas sounds good when he sings his hooks, such as "poppa was a player" or "I can" because he is only sort of singing, and it sounds better than if he was really trying. I don't know how to explain that really since that's sort of the opposite of what you'd expect. I don't think the hook to baby phat is that great but this is an example of what I'm talking about. But I can't be too hard on you because writing hooks is incredibly difficult and I could write a hundred verses before I came up with a hook that I liked.

I still think long days cold nights blows everything else you've done out of the water though. Your flow stays good in every song but that song has a better atmosphere and concept than everything else I've heard. You and fyre had a better chemistry than the other people you work with. I think you have a lot of potential but the types of collaborations you do put a serious limit on the types of songs you can make.

well of course your associates aren't going to like what I said. I don't want to have to hurt anybody's feelings but I'm trying to give my honest opinion. If you don't feel like you can get anywhere on your own, why do you think that doing collaborations with people who are really only holding your songs back is going to help? For the sake of the music, I think you should try to do what really makes the best song. As of right now, if I bought your cd I would honestly be listening to your verses and then fast forwarding through what I've heard from your collaborators.

I'm sorry to have to be harsh but I feel like you have the potential to make something good if you take the right steps. It would be different if you had collaborators that consistently matched what you are bringing. The fact of the matter is your song 'long days cold nights' is a huge step beyond the other songs I have heard because you and fyre actually sound good together. Both of you sound experienced and the song is original. Your other friends seem to limit you to another cars/money rapper. Your cars/money verses are decent but the other 'breadwinnaz' just haven't said anything impressive yet. Not to mention that you seem to rap better when they aren't around.

Yes what I am saying is kind of mean but it just seems like you could be making something much better.

oh yea and my name isn't sinistah

lol - i feel u on the real, for the most part. i will say, however, each track brings out different things for me . . . the breadwinnaz project is supposed to be a well rounded project, but it kind of came out a little more car/money sided . . . but not cuz of who i rhymed wit, but b/c of the tracks that i/we selected to smash on . . . (not to negate anythign you said)

and the joint i did wIT fyre was definitely a different level - thats why im constantly tryn to do collaboz . . . to find a good mix . . . ANYBODY that got hot tracks n wanna collabo wit me - im RIGHT HERE, ALL DAY, AIRDAY!!!

what i say about your rhyme associates? and yeah i got a couple of solo joints, but they were just basically test runs and not even that anymore since a virus swept out my session file folder

as far as the group efforts, thats the same shit i be on, i'm like it's strength in numbers as a group, of course one is gonna get spearheaded as the "leader" or whateva, but everyone else gets the same initial exposure, the branching off begins with how well the public recieves the members of the group.....
