Normalize on render...

...would be a nice feature. I know a lot of people don't like normalizing but I still think it'd be a nice feature to add to the Render form. On quick recordings it would make things easier.

I know you can right-click the tracks and do it that way, but that seems to normalize the track(s) pre-FX, so any effects on there that might effect the gain could possibly cause it to clip.

Anyway, just an idea.

It would be nice....

There are some plugins you can add to the master fader that would do that, right?

Not sure. The plugin would need to "see" the whole song in order to normalize it. There might be a few out there I don't know.

I asked, but I don't think this is going to happen. Justin had a suggestion though, to render to float. Then you could throw all your songs in a project and metanormalize them there and not have so many of the negative effects of a standard normalize
