Delay problems
Hey guys. I'm having a delay problem when I try to record a track on Sonar 2.2. Whenever I dont have the track armed to record, I have a solid signal through my sound card (an audigy yes, but I'm currently in the market for a firewire unit.) Is there somewhere in Sonar that I can go to fix this problem? When I strike a chord on my guitar i get the initial signal, plus an echo, even though I dont have any delays set.

Try muting the original signal in the audigy mixer to eliminate the annoying double sound, then you'll have to go to Options->Audio and play around with the latency slider.
1. Don't expect much from Audigy if your monitoring with plug-ins (if not, turn monitoring off and just use Audigy mixer to monitor). 2. Choppy sound means you went to low with the slider. 3. If you mess things up and can't get it working again, use the wave profiler button, I think it lives right there with the slider, not sure. |
