A story I read today prompted me to think about what I would do in the event of my cat being mortally wounded but still twitching.

I guess I am focused on Cat Splat. I even wrote a song about it, well known in this rarified community.

An unfortunate cat-owner was faced with that and then mangled the attempt to euthanize the cat. He now faces charges for animal cruelty. Bad news all the way around.

Yeha someone I know of had a kitten, and had a friend come over once. The doors in his house had a bit of weight on them and tendancy to slam shut. He warned his friend to always look on the floor behind him for the kitten when going through doors in case the cat got caught in the door. his friend paid no attention. The door slammed on the cats head. The cat was fucked, dying what would have been a painful death. He had no choice but to break the poor little guy's neck.

It's a horrible thing to think of, but I would probably have to do the same. It would tear me up inside but...

A friend of mine shot a frog once and obviously really fucked it up. It was still alive. I had to stamp on the frog, there was nothing else I could do. Then I stamped on my friend.

Shit man. This is morbid.

Welcome to the forum groovewithjamie. Even if our welcome seems slightly darkside....
