Officer Jones is back to his first home now

I don't know if I should smile or cry...which I have been doing a lot of...crying.

A woman and three little girls left her just a little bit ago...with OJ. His name is OREO and he belongs to a little girl around 8 years old. Her youngest sister had her kitty stolen Halloween night too and still has not been found. He is a yellow kitty and OREO's brother.

Although I miss that little Dr Jekyl and Hyde, so much it hurts, I am happy for the little girl. She was elated and OREO was happy to see her...doing his neck wrap impersonation...and covering her face with kitty kisses.

So goodbye OREO aka Officer Jones aka Gremlin, my sweet little wild kitty, whose short stay with me, will bless me for a very long time.

Much respect.

Sad. But it's a good sad. Well, if there is a good sad.

I am sad for you, yet happy for him. But you were clearly moved by OJ, and clearly selected to experience his kittenness firsthand.

I suspect there's another feline in your future!

Thanks for being such a good caretaker!

What sort of scum would steal someones cat My friend has put homing devices on her cats collars because of that sort of thing.

I suspect such scum are one notch above the ones who do worse

In this country, all serious Bengal breeders (and many other breeds too, but I know your friend has Bengals) have a clause in their agreements that insist the cat be kept inside at all times.

Awww I used to live with a girl who had a kitten named Gremlin. Coolest cat ever. Every morning when I walked out of my room she'd be standing on her hind legs outside my door with her front paws held out like she was boxing me and I'd play with her for a few minutes before work. Good times.
Er, glad to hear the little girl got her kitty back, sure is a cute cat!

Yeah we don't have anything like that over here. Only a law that says it is illegal to interfere with a cat as it goes about its daily business. Luckily I don't know of many people that know jack about cats, breeds, or what they are worth. The value of my friends bengal is what made her get the homing devices. They're pretty cool. They have this big widget that beeps at them if they are facing the right direction and gets stronger the closer they are. I think the range is a good few miles. Of course it won't help amazingly if the cat gets stolen and taken a fair way away, but he's chipped. I got Loki chipped the other day. I can't beleive the size of the fucking needle and how reactionless he was to it.

It would be good if you could get something like a chip that can't be removed, rather than a device on the collar, that placed a marker on a map to anywhere in the country they were, and was accurate to a few meters. Kinda like a GPS thing or something.

Don't you have cars and whaddayacallem...lorries over there?

Keep 'em inside, it's a lot cheaper, less worry, and easier on the cats :-)

Glad to hear he found his way home, you'll find another buddy, my cat died a little over a month ago, I still miss her greatly.

Hey Guys!! Thank you so much for you replies. I really miss the little guy!! He just had personality!!

Again thanks for replying and Torpid-x, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet kitty.

It is good you have all those unwanted strays to love and be loved by.
