Vocal effects
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEV5WSBmhIA
Watch this video of Damien Rice performing 'I Remember' - beautiful and powerful song. Notice when Damien starts singing, he has 2 microphones, one normal one, and another one that either is an odd type of microphone or is passed through some kind of effects box. When he sings, he steps up to the effected mic - it sounds very distorted, like an old phone sounds, and it looks like it's got a really flat end to it - any idea what he's using here? He starts singing about 3:20. Cheers, Andy |
