RIP Daz

After 3 months of trips back and forth to the vet, being nursed and hand fed and finally fading away to less than half her original weight while fighting what turned out to be an intestinal lymphoma, I had to make the decision to have out female Australian Mist euthanased today and damn, that's hard to do. In the pic she is getting a wash from our male Aussie Mist, this was taken just before she first showed signs of being ill.

As with many others I've been there & done that but cannot really know what you're going through - it's as different for each person as each pet. It's so hard to work out when the line has been crossed but you obviously knew when it was approaching. I can only offer you my commiserations & thanks for caring for a critter.

Aus...so sorry about your loss...those furry friends are a blessing in our lives. They interact with us, in a way humans cannot.

So sorry to hear about the loss of you're kitty, I had one just disappear this Spring and I still hope to someday see her again. I doubt she will come back, but there is still a tiny bit of hope.........
