Tascam 788

Is there a way to transfer your songs from the 788 to your computer?
If so, what would be the best software for mixing and editing the damn thing?

Hey, I've had a 788 for about a month now. From all that I've heard, all of the 788 data files are proprietary and are totally incompatible with a PC. However, it could be possible to transfer just regular audio, but more time consuming because you would have to do it track by track. Just curious, why are you needing to transfer the tracks.
