Help!

I have a few sessions with only guitars, bass and vocals. They freeze up on me. They are playing, but the levels are frozen and the mix buttons are frozen. I close session and reopen, same thing. When I put the mouse cursor a click the right button or move the mouse wheel It un freezes briefly. What am I doin wrong?
