I think it's kind of simplistic...both in the track itself and the sounds used.

ok - well thats somethin. im prolly gon stay "simplistic" right nwo, cuz im mad new at comprehending beats . . . waht kan i do to improve it . . . if i keep the sounds - im usin the sounds on the triton . . . (i thought that kinda gave me a thumbs up on sound quality) maybe i need to work on effects . . . for the sounds . . . (as opposed to the melody itself) . . . that is , , , if the melody is even remotely salvageable . . .

simplistic beats arnt always bad

in my oppinion here the drums need to be boosted up a bit (not th base) i think it needs more of a BAP sound and the hi hats could be turned up heaps too. i honestly think hihats to LOTS for tracks.

secondly it all seems very clustered. it needs to feel more open like it has space. try some panning. and if youve got some try more. other wise its going to need a lighter sound over the deep grunge.

not bad for a first effort play round with that and see if u like.

Ok. Thanks. I Know How To "work On" Hi Hats And I Can Work On Panning Via The Computer More So Than On The Keyboard . . .. But Whats Meant By "lighter Sound Over The Deep Grunge" - I Know The Grunge Is The Main Bassline That I Used . . . By Lighter Do You Mean . . . Like . . . Orchestral Instruments Rather Than "hard" Synths . . .

like a bell or somthing else. it could be anything. somthing apart from a synthasiser might sound nice. somthing higher up in range like an a or b chord sound. play round with it. if it doesnt work try somthing else. i dont make beats. i just look at them as if i wanted to rap over them

yeah i figured out this forum isnt good for getting feedback at all
as for teh beat its good, i liek it simple, id say lower that bass so the drums shine through more, when the dirtys o9uth snare comes in you should make the beat drop more, like faster hi hats, bring in that snare, toms, open hats, crashes. Mess iwth taht synth some more, add hitz, etc, make the beat more full and interesting to the ear.
