I'm a new to PC recording. I am trying to buy small pieces at a time. First purchase is a mixer. I will only be recording 1 track at a time at first, but maybe by Christmas I will have a new sound card. I also want a mixer for other things so I know that is my first purchase. Also I am absolutely not spending more than 200. I know I can do better by buying Mackie over Behringer or buying the Delta 66, but those are just not options right now. I need serious comments/suggestions about the following:
Samson Mixpad 4 or 9 (Mic pres? Quality?) Behringer 802A Midiman Mixim or Multimix Nady MM4 (Mic pres? Quality?) Spirit Folio Notepad (As high $$ as I can go.) Fostex Digital VM04 (very curious about this one.) Thanks for your help. I think the Spirit is probably the best. Comments about the others appreciated. |
