Slow Audio Playback...Entire System
Hello...
All of a sudden all of the audio applications on my PC (SONAR, WaveLab, Windows Media Player...everything) are playing files at a very slow speed (sounds like they're playing at approximately 1/2 the normal speed.) I understand this is probably a sample rate thing, but does anyone have any idea what might be causing it? I've reinstalled my AI's drivers (Echo Audio Layla 24/96), but that didn't work. Need help. Your sample rate on your sound card is set incorrectly. Go into the console and fix it. You need to shut off all computer sounds so that your sound card does not switch to a low quality sample & bit rate when your computer decides to beep at you or something. That should keep the problem from coming back again. playing a 44.1k sampled song at a different setting is just like changing the speed on a record player. Good Luck F.S.

Forgot all about the Echo Console (to be honest...I actually lent my Layla 24/96 to my lead guitarist, for his project studio...& this is all happening on his machine.) I'll let him know...thanks again. MF |
