Recording the count in beats...

Is there a way to record the count in beats in Sonar 6? Every time I try, the recording doesn't start until after the count in finishes.

I'm trying to make some jamming tracks and need to know when the instruments come in.

Thanks

That's why they're called count-in beats!! LOL!

What I do is open an audio track and paste in some hat hits at the appropriate spots.

record 2 bars from your drum machine OR plug in a mic & count.
