My cat.....

ever since i've had my cat, she's always been the "off in her own world" type of cat. she didnt pay too much attention to me, and wasnt very cuddly or anything like that. she'd usually sleep when i was awake, and then run around the house when i was asleep.

however, the past 2 or 3 days, she's been acting different. she follows me around the house all the time, she climbs in bed with me when i go to sleep, she sits next to me on the couch, and lays on the floor behind me when i'm at the computer, she climbs on my lap and purrs, and if she is across the room and i look at her, she'll walk right over to me. she's been avoiding her usual hangout spots and has really just been following me everywhere. she even meows at me sometimes, which is odd because she has NEVER been very vocal at all. does this mean i'm about to die?

They can change their behaviour pretty fast. Our first cat didn't want to come on the lap or so. After some time it was hard to get him off it! He would put out all his claws if you wanted to get from under him.
