Open Append
Whenever I use "Open Append", the last file I select for opening always ends up being the first in the new file.
Example:I select files 001, 002, 003 ......010. These are 10 separate wave files that happen to be 10 minutes each. When using the Open Append option, file number 010 will always be the first file in the new combined wave file that is now 100 minutes long. This occurs if I select only 2 files or multiple. The last file in my list always gets put at the front of the new wave file. Does anybody know why this occurs? The only work around I can think of is to use a "dummy" file for the last file so I can delete the info after combining all the other tracks. |

This is stupid Windows behavior. It's not only Audition, this happens to any software, unless the coder was smart enough to compensate for it.
The safest way to prevent this is loading only one file at a time. |

This is indeed Windows behavior. But you already gave the work-around yourself; as the last file, select the file you want to appear first in the new file.
