Unhappy How do I speed up song in Pro Tools Session?

I need to speed up songs in my pro tools session that I have imported from a CD. The project is for a cheerleading routine. Is there a plug in or a trick that would make this easy?

Go to "AudioSuite" > "Pitch Shift" > "Tempo Shift". It's not perfect, but it comes with it!

of use the time shift trim tool. Same algorithm...just gives you more to work with.

Rollins - do you want to actually speed the song up (make everything's pitch get higher etc)? OR - do you want to the tempo of the song to get faster but not have everything get all chipmunk-y on you?

if you just want to boost the tempo - use the time compression/expansion audio suite (not the pitch shift).

Pro Tools 7.4 is out, and elastic time could do it too. But if you only need it for one track, elastic time is probably overkill.
