Ok ok.. You probably won't like it but I'd still like some feedback. All of the songs are pretty different from each other(I think).

listening now sir...standby...

1. Death Funk
* <insert Igor voice> the panning...it makes me dizzy < end igor voice>
* I like it...kinda weird. I could see this used in a movie as background music during a chase scene or a party scene where there is an attempted rape of the sweet HS girl who has never partied before, but this was her first time drinking. The guys were trying to take advantage of her, but her nerdy best friend (who also doesn't drink) comes in and confronts them and gets beat up - but then enters quarterback, who grew up with the nerd during elementary and whose parents are old college friends from teh 70's, steps in and helps the nerd by beating up the 2 offending guys. Of course this makes the sweet HS girl indebted to the Quarterback and they fall in love. This of course hurts the nerd, as he gave up no less than QB guy, but gets jilted in teh love dept. In the end though, he realizes that her happiness is more important and his own personal issues will be dealt with in heavy counseling sessions.
* wait...what? Wasn't that an after school special?

2. monotonically speaking
* dark groove (listening as I type)
* good slow beginning...I like the space left open after the main lick.
* good job programming the drums.
* the hi hat "psst psst" that echoes left to right is real nice. everything else in teh song is straight up the gut, those add a little spread.
* I like this one as well.

3. I'll slap you. II Don't make me go III times.
* Flange!!
* Wah!
* Chorus!
* another guitar effect goes here... nice tones and sounds on the guitar! Drums are light on this one...although I like the beats
* over already? bummer. short song but nice

4. I'll slap you, 1

* this version is better than 2
* ok...something you're doing on these 2 versions is giving me an anxiety attack. In the beginning, where everything is laid back and the Ride hasn't come in yet...you wait like 4 bars to bring it all together and ' pick it up ' so to speak. I'm ready after 2 bars. the other 2 cause me pill-taking anxiety.
* over again. i'd like to hear this one played out. good song concept.

5. 1st mmbass
* ok, the drums are starting to wear on me. get a good funk drummer. Start with RAMI. CAn't go wrong there.
* you (or whoever) are a good guitarist.
* this song needs a hook...

6. Untimely stint
* YES@!!! great sounds! great ambiance in the first 3 seconds!
* I can hear a little too much of your guitar pickups...switch phase? I'm not a huge fan of this, which is one reason why I have a hard time recording with my Tele...oh well, personal preference and all.
* OVER? You're killing me. too short. I hate you

7. No wonder
* meh...not a huge fan of this one.

Overall, good mix on teh songs. Good tones on the guitars, and most of the songs are good concepts. Great job.

cholo

*

Thanks for the feedback! LOL @ the Death Funk interpretation. I agree with you on everything. I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing yet and most are pure experiments but a couple of them I took my time on and it probably shows. I'd really like to sequence video and audio in the future, you know, for short films and whatnot. That's the idea behind "no wonder" etc... Thanks a lot for taking the time to listen, elcholo. Means a lot! I think sticking with my ideas longer and if I didn't not "finish" my songs due to boredom would help too?
Thanks again.
