I have a two cat feeding situation where the weaker cat (the mom I've had for 12 years) doesn't get elbowed out of her food by her overweight 11-year-old daughter.

That is total anarchy!

The only solution that has worked for me is the private feeding idea. It takes about 10 minutes but is helping TCP toward a healthier weight.

Nice family. It appears your 6 get along a lot better than our 2. Ours can't stand to be within eyesight of each other.

Canned food is evil. It's pretty fattening and isn't any healthier than most premium dry foods. Also ends up rotting their teeth in time.
