Tascam 464
I bought a cassette 4 track a while ago and also got a good mic and a lexicon Lpx 5.Is it my imagination or do these old reverb units put all software reverbs to shame? The difference is big and the Lpx isn't even one of their better models.I record all live instruments to tape first and then send it to my DAW for mixing with other instruments. The Tascam 464 is a big step up from the Porta 1 I bought back in 1985 so that was a pleasant surprize. It's quieter and having a great mic helps(Oktavamod MK-319).If I mention anything about analog technology being superior in any way at the FL Studio forums they don't like it.Anyone else had they same experience with digital effects? Are they simply bad?
