Exclamation TEAC 80-8 converted to 1" (one inch!!)

I've never seen this done before but here it is, right in front of my eyes! I bet it sounds awesome!!

Looks like a pretty nice upgrade!

I wonder if they also put in larger motors to handle the heavier reels of tape too?

Pity we don't get to see the heads. And yeah, the motors were the first thing that sprang to mind.

Good point about the motors. Hey, I'll try asking if the guy can post a pic of the heads.
