Understanding plugins/software

Morning all, I need some help again.

Ok, I'm up and running with 6.4 and been doing some recording. At this stage due to not having an acousticaly treated room the only "live" stuff I track is vocals and acoustic guitar. Everything else is being DI'd straight in via the 001 interface.

My question is, when looking for software to add to the arsenal how do I know "which ones will work with PT?"

Particularly interested in "Abbey Road Piano" which is just out by Reason and I don't know if its something I can use or not. Probably a dumb question but go easy I'm only a noob

anything that says RTAS or can work as a ReWired app.
or if you have the VST to RTAS adapter...you can use almost any VST plug

Thanks for the response benny.
So this means I can buy and install Reason - dump it into a plugins folder on my pc and then use the samples/sounds etc in PT as per a normal plugin albeit with a keyboard of some description?

Am I making any sense? Lol
