Merge (Join) Regions

Anybody know how to Merge or Join 2 regions back together ?

I've tried "Heal the Split" but it's not working for me.

I think in REAPER parlance, you are taking about "items". Regions are what you get by selecting an area of time and hitting Shift-R

If you mean items, simply select them and right click to choose "glue selected items"...I set control-alt-g to be my glue command

Guess I got to know my Reaper terminology.

My old Roland machine called those "Regions".

Some other apps call them regions too. Vegas calls them events, some apps call them clips

What makes it real fun is the Vfire support in reaper, so the roland vstudio guys use reaper and the terminology gets all weird for them...one of these days we will all speak the same language

In Audition , you can use the mouse to take a quick swipe at a region (Item) and then hit delete and it delete's what your mouse selected.

Is there a slick way to do that with Reaper ?

there's a few ways, none of the default ones seem very satisfactory for those used to working that way, so Bevoss made some macros on the reaper forum to download for the host behaviour you want
